Youtube turns to movie business

How about that? We will soon be able to buy movies for 2.50£ from Youtube and watch them on a 48 hour viewing period.
It’s a video-sharing site that takes its first steps into the online movie rental business.
The service will go live on 22 January. Unfortunately only five films will be available to rent to start with.
They will be “Bass Ackwards,” “One Too Many Mornings,” “Homewrecker” and “Children of Invention”. They’re movies from the 2009 and 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
In the future it is expected that the site will expand its rental catalogue with television shows and feature films from major studios and will get Hollywood signs.
Anyway it’s quite a big move from Youtube since they’re trying to monetize their site.
Hope we will be able to access this site in the UK soon.
