No more Wireless queues

Barclaycard, sponsors of London Hyde Park’s Wireless festival have announced plans to use special wrist bands and tickets at next year’s events that will allow festival goers to fill them with credit as opposed to spending cash. The hope is that it will reduce the size of queues for food and drinks with users having their wrist bands scanned and credit taken off. It’s also a very clever way for Barclaycard to market their product by having a ‘cash-free’ festival with everything on credit. Kanye West and Basement Jaxx headlined the festival last year but Barclaycard are currently in talks with promoters Live Nation to rebrand the event next year.

Suggestions for the new name on a postcard please!
